The Boys in Blue had another successful day on the track in Round 5 beating the Birdwood Roosters on their home turf!

The B Grade had a very convincing win, getting up by 111 points! The A Grade match was always going to be a good one to watch, and the boys certainly didn’t disappoint. After going into the 3rd quarter a few goals down the boys came out guns a-blazing to finish off the game hard and strong, getting over the line by 19 points.

The Auskick kids went out at half time of the A Grade and braved the Birdwood cold to show some great skills and dominated their slightly ‘shorter’ opposing team, and the game was enjoyed by parents and spectators alike!

This week sees us taking on the Echunga Demons who heading into Round 6 remain undefeated. The matches will take place on Brooker Park so here’s hoping the home ground advantage can get the boys over the line.

So get yourselves up to Kersbrook this Saturday and cheer on the boys in what promises to be an exciting match, and make sure you stick around for meals and presentations!
