Well, let's not talk about the Echunga game... we'll just skip right along to the Nairne game last week! Well done to both senior teams for their victories over the Rams - a special congrats to the B Grade on beating the top team!
BLUE & BLUE BALL
Saturday May 29, 2010
This year's ball was a great night for the club with everyone having a blast! (from what I can remember..) Unfortunately the numbers were down from last year which may be due to a few different factors, but hopefully next year will see some more support coming our way! Next year will also see a deposit required on booking due to a large number of people pulling out in the days leading up to (and on the night) which the footy club had to foot the bill for.
CALL TO ARMS / MISS KERSBROOK
Saturday June 26, 2010
All teams will be participating in the Call To Arms fundraiser to raise money for the fight against men’s cancer. All players will make a donation on the day and don the yellow armband whilst playing. There will also be some raffles prizes up for grabs!
After the game, Miss Kersbrook Quest kicks off! There will be a gold coin donation for audience members (all going to Call To Arms). If the club's first fundraising target ($500) is met, A Grade coach Brett James will donate his legs for waxing up on stage, and if the second target ($750) is met, B Grade coach Dicky Kleeman has kindly donated his chest for waxing! It’s a great cause and should be a really fun night at the club! (please note: Miss Kersbrook Quest is not a very ‘kid friendly’ environment) * We are now searching for entrants into the Miss Kersbrook Quest – if you’re up for it email me info@kersbrookfc.com.au *
If you're unable to make it on the day, online donations are welcome! Follow the link below to the club's online fundraising page!
